For this project ESH supplied materials and labour to install and commission a trace heating system to phosphoric acid steel pipework. The pipework ran from the filter area to the external storage tank, approx 35m of 40mm dia pipe, including 12 bends, 7 flanges, 1 reducer and 1 valve.

Merchant Square, Building D - Paddington
The Merchant Square project covers an area almost the size of Soho creating 10,000,000 square feet of space between 6 ultra modern buildings. ESH were contracted to supply frost protection to the sprinkler system within building D. A total of 1500m of type ESRS self limiting heating tape was supplied and installed as well as the 25mm tick mineral wool thermal insulation.

For our second project at this site, ESH supplied and installed the trace heating system to maintain the DHWS pipework for the nursery hot water at a temperature of +55°C and to periodically raise the temperature temperature to +65°C. We installed 100m of H2OWAT65 to complete the system.

For this building with its nine storeys of office accommodation totalling 19,900 square metres, ESH supplied and installed trace heating to provide frost protection to the external fuel oil pipework. A total of 120m of pipe from 15mm to 80mm in size was protected, including 25m of pipe which was stripped and retraced.
